Christian is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with over 15 years of experience in the valuation of business enterprises, financial securities, intangible assets, and international privatizations.  He makes extensive use of sophisticated analytical techniques to support his conclusions.

Having worked in the Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area, his areas of industry expertise include: software, biotechnology, electronics, and semiconductors, as well as financial services, waste management, construction, and real estate. Well-known corporate clients include Charles Schwab, GE Capital, Levi Strauss, and Sun Microsystems.

He has prepared valuation studies for FAS 144 goodwill impairment, provided expert testimony for litigation support, performed statistical analyses of discounts for limited partnerships, and developed economic lifing studies used for analyzing the economic depreciation and obsolescence of high-technology equipment for computer firms in Santa Clara County and for the state of California.

Christian has also led consulting teams for national firms Ernst & Young and Arthur Consulting Group.  He earned an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude from the Honors Program.

Marleen Fouché

Marleen Fouché is a technical writer and analyst with 20 years of experience in business research, analysis, and writing. She has worked for large and small companies on a variety of projects, including computer software, bank mergers, training and educational materials, law-practice books, and policy and procedure manuals in the fields of finance, law, and real estate.
Past clients include Bank of America, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Continuing Education of the Bar—California, General Electric Capital, and the University of California at Berkeley.
She earned a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
